Welcome

Clear Springs Baptist Church is devoted to rightly dividing the Bible, as Paul wrote in II Timothy 2:15. God chose Paul to be the spokesman for this age of Grace. The Apostle Paul wrote thirteen epistles, each beginning with Paul's name; II Thessalonians 3:17..."The salutation of Paul with mine own hand, which is the token in every epistle: so I write."

Paul's writings minister the Lord Jesus Christ and His gospel to the Gentiles. Romans 15:16 "That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost." If we are to obey the next command one must consider who authored First Corthinans and follow the writings of this author. God lead the Apostle Paul to write First Corinthians, thus we are to follow him. I Corinthians 4:16 "Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me."

King James Bible AV 1611

The King James Bible is the perfectly preserved, final authority for English speaking people.

Psalm 12:6 "The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times."I Thessalonians 2:13 "For this cause also thank God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth , the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe."

Many scholars refuse to accept the purity of the words of God. If people choose to disbelieve the promises of God, He will not force Himself upon them. I Corthinans 14:38-39 "If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord. But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant."
